A dual EASA/FAA approved solution for using iPad Pro/Air as EFB device on your B737 NG or MAX!
PMV Engineering (EASA.21J.487) is the holder of the EASA STC No. 10073526 for the approval of the installation of two (2) cfMount™ with Tablet Cradle from ASG (Avionics Support Group, Inc.) on the cockpit sliding windows (both sides, Captain and F/O) of B737 NG & MAX.
As a reminder, the function of each cradle is to hold a computer tablet (mainly iPad) that can be used as an EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) by the flight crew members during the different phases of the flight. The only model of cradle approved by this STC at initial release (dating from June 2020) was the “Cradle – iPad Mini” P/N 213014-9 limited to 8” screen size tablet.
End of September 2023, PMV Engineering obtained a revision (REV 1) of this EASA STC to enlarge the cradle holding capacity to 11” screen size tablet (e.g., iPad Air or iPad Pro) by means of the ASG “Cradle – iPad Universal 2” P/N 213014-37.
At last, end of November 2023, PMV Engineering also obtained the FAA STC No. ST00158IB for the validation in U.S. of the EASA STC No. 10073526 REV 1.
